Speedwork

I ended up at the RIT track for intervals last night. I would have preferred running to Brighton and using the track there, but the track is all types of torn up. The RIT track was nice and not too populated. I had trouble figuring out how to use the lanes and all that, but after a 1.5 mile warm up, I started my 3×1600m@8:30 (about) with 800m recovery jogs before a 1.5 mile cool down (which is probably a bit excessive).

Thoughts on track running… it is easy to visualize how much further you have to go, but… it gets boring. Fast. I’ve only got one more interval workout, so I will likely be back at the RIT track in a few weeks.
